1951
The first historical data about Jermuk mineral water begin as early as 189 BC. From the time of construction of Jermuk fortress. Ever since ancient times, people have been using the magical properties of Jermuk mineral water to cure various types of ailments. A vivid proof of this is the reservoirs near the site, which were built in the Middle Ages and then rebuilt in 1860.
1999
Ashot Arsenyan founded a new, modern factory of "JERMUK GROUP" company. Built close to a mineral water well and equipped with modern technology, mineral water was bottled according to European standards.
STUDY MINERAL WATER
Mineral water is water from a mineral spring that contains various minerals such as salts and sulfur compounds. Mineral water can usually be still or sparkling (carbonated/effervescent) depending on the presence or absence of added gases.
Traditionally, mineral waters were used or consumed at their sources, often called "taking" or "curing," in places such as spas, baths, or wells. The term spa was used for a place where water was consumed and bathed; a bath where the water was used primarily for bathing, therapeutic or recreational purposes; and a well where the water was to be consumed.
PRODUCTION
2016 a completely new, state-of-the-art factory of "JERMUK GROUP" was built, which allows to increase the volume of products and satisfy the year-by-year growing demand of Jermuk, both in Armenia and abroad.
